The Shopify Store Development is a free Shopify account with some restrictions. You can use your own development store to test out themes and apps you create or to set up your own customer-friendly Shopify account. Creating a development shop and serving it to customers will incur recurring commissions.
In addition, you must understand and know how to use the Shopify API. You should also be familiar with developing Shopify themes using version control.
